Real estate is one of few assets that has potential to increase in value overtime. Within the STL area, resides countless residential, rental, and distressed properties. What does a handful of these properties have in common? They lack the investments needed to take them to the next level.

This ultimately creates a divide between two different types of property owners. Those that invest in their properties and those that do not.

 

Having such disparities creates striking differences between neighborhoods with in the area. These differences create Delmar divides, wealth gaps, gaps in funding for public schooling, etc. Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, "Real estate is about the safest investment in the world.”  So why is it that only a handful of property owners actually invest in what they own?

Most will say money.  Some say they don't see a need to.  Others simply lack the desire to.
